This baby is due any day!

Yesterday was my Beloved’s and my 3rd year wedding anniversary!  I have so much to be thankful for in the charming and handsome and godly man the Lord has decided to put me here with.  So I think I’ll brag, in public, about my most wonderful leader and companion.

Right now he is downstairs vacuuming up water that flooded our landlord’s basement, completely of his own free will.  The water, he discovered himself.  It is a keen man indeed who notices things that need to be done to the benefit of others, and just gets it done.

This morning he got up at 6am with Luke so I could sleep in, made breakfast, packed us lunch, did our grocery shopping with us, carried Luke all the way up the stairs in his car seat (since he fell asleep in the car and we just wanted him to stay that way) and still managed to meet with a guy he disciples after lunch time.  He played at the park with Luke, built him a train, and took over reading books for him at bedtime when Luke, “Wanta Daddy!!”  He was dead tired tonight when he found the water downstairs, and we were just about to lay down and watch something, but since our landlords are away at a party he decided to address the issue.  This is a typical day for Paul.

I am thrilled to say I am married to a man who knows what it means to be a servant leader.  Aside from the very presence of the Lord Himself and His merciful salvation, he is my sweetest treasure.  He makes it easy to not care about having money or prestige or certainty.  It is my prayer as a Wife that God continues to mold me into the woman he so desires and needs.  I think it only gets better from here!
